Module breakdown
Kingston modules are broken down into four main components of architecture

Representation
Making
Professional practice
It does look like they have updated the modules to suit which year you are in eg larger focus on sustainability, tectonics and history in your third year
First year was mainly focused on fun artistic expression. Using lots of different media to represent work and learning how to draw, sketch and draft your drawings.
ππ» General approach
Very self expressive. I felt that you had a lot of choice and freedom to explore your ideas.
π Student support
Student support was good. There are lots of helpful people around, not only in the architecture department but in the whole arts university campus.
I would recommend Kingston to anyone who thrives with less structure and a lot of freedom, very artistic.

π Application Process
From what I remember I just took anything that had interested me, booklets and my ceramic art book that I did for A-Level. They really enjoyed me talking about what I had explored. The interview felt very relaxed
π Insider Tips
Donβt buy new materials there is so much scrap around the whole arts facilities - go into DT and Fashion and find there scrap bins. Donβt buy if you donβt have to!
