Module breakdown
Only 3rd year is counted and some percentage from the 2nd year. Mostly projects take a term except the final major project. The support used to be most of the time on the 1st and the 2nd year but during the final term I felt lack of support from technical tutors.
Opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a range of different scales and programs, both interior, architecture and urban landscape design. Throughout the 3 year course we were given the chance to work in groups as well as independently.
The course is divided into 3 terms with the usual layout as, first being a smaller scale project and a group project, the second term is focused on a larger independent design project with the third term usually being an extension of the second term design project with a deeper focus on a chosen element of the project. All years count as you cannot progress through without getting the grades, however your third year work and the higher grading project of second year go towards your final degree grade.
👐🏻 General approach
There is a freedom of choice and tutors encourage to develop the way you want and they support and help to achieve your goals. However, during three years our portfolio has included all sorts of work.
